Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.9.1 could allow an authenticated user to read or modify sensitive information by bypassing authentication using insecure direct object references.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS) is a tool for building apps that use AI language models. This flaw affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.9.1. Someone who already has a login to your Langflow installation could get around its access checks and read or change sensitive information they should not be allowed to reach. They could do this by asking for stored items directly, without the product properly checking whether those items are theirs to open. This flaw is rated High.
What to do
- Find out who runs Langflow for your organization: the person who installed it, or the IT provider or vendor that manages it for you.
- If someone on your staff runs it, ask them to check which version is installed. Versions 1.0.0 through 1.9.1 are affected.
- No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release and install it as soon as one is available.
- If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for you, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
