Securaity collects very little about you. This page lists what does get processed when you visit, why, and what we never do with it. If you are reviewing this site for your organization’s privacy or vendor checks, everything you need should be here.
What the site collects (the short answer)
Securaity has no user accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no comments and no contact form. Nothing on the site asks for your name, your email address or payment details.
The only data involved in a normal visit is the technical information that comes with any web request. The sections below explain who handles it and for how long.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare serves the pages and, like any hosting provider, processes the technical data of each request to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse. That data is:
- your IP address
- your user agent (the browser and device information your browser sends)
- the page you asked for
- the time of the request
Cloudflare’s own privacy policy governs that processing.
Our server also keeps short-lived technical logs of the same request data. We use them for debugging and to prevent abuse. These logs are not used to build profiles of visitors.
Some parts of the site serve data from endpoints that could be flooded with requests. To stop that, requests to those data endpoints are counted per IP address for a short window. Nothing is stored beyond that window.
Analytics and cookies
The only analytics the site uses, when enabled, is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. It does not fingerprint visitors. It records page views and the referring site in aggregate, so we can see which pages are read without tracking any individual.
Securaity sets no cookies of its own. On some requests, the hosting provider may set a cookie for bot protection. That cookie belongs to the provider’s security tools, not to any tracking by this site.
Site search
The site search runs in your browser. When you use it, your browser downloads a list of page titles from our server and searches that list locally. With JavaScript on, the words you type into the search box are not sent to our server.
If you write to the contact address, your message and your email address go to our email provider, which acts as our processor. We keep the message only as long as we need to reply or to act on a correction you sent.
Email is the only way to contact us, and you choose what to include. If your organization has rules about what staff may send to outside parties, those rules apply here as they would anywhere else.
Links to other sites
Many pages link to outside sources such as vendor pages, the NVD, GitHub and CISA. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Once you follow a link, their policy applies, not this one.
What we do not do
- We do not sell any data.
- We do not share data for advertising.
- We do not use data to train AI models. Securaity does not train models at all.
The site is not directed at children, and nothing on it asks anyone for personal information.
Changes to this page
When this policy changes, the “Updated” date at the top of the page changes with it. If you keep a record of the vendors and sites your organization relies on, checking that date is the easiest way to see whether anything is new.
If you have questions about this page, email us through the contact page.
