Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.9.6 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in /api/v1/build_public_tmp/ endpoints that allows an unauthenticated attacker to read build event data or cancel jobs using a valid job identifier, resulting in information disclosure and denial of service.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS) is a tool for building apps that use AI language models. This flaw affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.9.6. A part of the product that handles public flow builds does not check who is making a request. Someone who has not logged in, and who knows a valid job identifier, could read details of a build or cancel that job. This could expose information and stop your Langflow work from running. This flaw is rated Critical.
What to do
- If your organization installed Langflow itself, the person who set it up or runs it should check which version is in use. Any version from
1.0.0through1.9.6has this flaw. - No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release, and install it as soon as one is available.
- If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for your organization, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
