Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.0 allows users with Redis access to execute arbitrary code with full application privileges, compromising all secrets, data, and system integrity.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS) is a tool for building apps that use AI language models. This flaw affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.0. Anyone who has access to Redis (a data storage program) used with Langflow could run any code they choose with the full permissions of the application. That would expose all secrets and data in Langflow and could let the attacker change or break the whole system. This flaw is rated Critical.
What to do
- The person who installed or runs Langflow for your organization should check which version is in use. If it is any version from 1.0.0 through 1.10.0, it is affected.
- No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release and install it as soon as one is available.
- If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for your organization, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
