Description

NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker can cause improper handling of highly compressed data. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service.

Description quoted from the NVD record.

Who is affected

This flaw affects NVIDIA Triton Inference Server, software that runs AI models so that other apps and services can send them requests and get answers back. The problem is in the Linux version of the product, which does not properly handle data that has been very heavily compressed. An attacker could send such data to cause a denial of service, meaning the server could stop responding or stop working properly, so the AI features that depend on it would be unavailable. No specific affected versions are named for this flaw. This flaw is rated High.
