Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.0 allows authenticated users to override component parameters at runtime via the API. A critical security flaw exists in the parameter filtering mechanism within the apply_tweaks() function.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
This flaw affects Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS), a tool for building apps that use AI language models, in versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.0. The problem is in the part of the product that checks which settings a person may change when running a workflow. Because that check does not filter settings properly, anyone with a login could use the product's programming interface (the way other programs connect to it) to change the settings of a workflow's building blocks while it runs. This flaw is rated High.
What to do
- If you or someone on your staff installed and runs Langflow, that person should handle this. If an IT provider or vendor runs it for you, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
- Check which version of Langflow you use. Versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.0 are affected.
- No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release.
- When a fixed release is listed there, update Langflow to it as soon as you can.
