Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.1 contains an improper input validation vulnerability in the PythonREPL sandbox implementation.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS) is a tool for building apps that use AI language models. This flaw affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.1. The problem is in a part of the product that runs Python code inside a protected space meant to keep that code contained, often called a sandbox. That part does not properly check the input it receives. No further details about what an attacker could do are given for this flaw. This flaw is rated Critical. If your organization runs Langflow in any of these versions, this applies to you.
What to do
- Find out who installed or runs Langflow for your organization: a staff member, a volunteer, or an IT provider or vendor.
- Have that person check which version of Langflow is in use. Versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.1 are affected.
- No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release and install it as soon as one is available.
- If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for your organization, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
