Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.0 could allow a remote attacker to inject arbitrary code on the system, due to the improper control of user input code.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
This flaw affects Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS), a tool for building apps that use AI language models. It affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.0. The problem is in the way the product handles code that users type or supply to it: the product does not properly control that code. Because of this, an attacker reaching the system over a network could slip in code of their own choosing and have it run on the computer where Langflow is installed. This flaw is rated Critical.
What to do
- If your organization installed and runs Langflow itself, the person who set it up should check which version is in use. Versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.0 are affected.
- No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so that person should check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release and install it as soon as it is available.
- If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for your organization, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
