Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.11.5 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute flows and obtain sensitive information due to insufficient session expiration of API keys after user deactivation.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS) is a tool for building apps that use AI language models. This flaw affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.11.5. When a user account is deactivated, the API keys belonging to that account (access keys that let other programs use Langflow) do not stop working as they should. Someone who still holds one of those keys could use it over the network to run workflows in Langflow and obtain sensitive information. This matters if your organization has deactivated Langflow users who had API keys. This flaw is rated High.
What to do
- If someone in your organization installed or runs Langflow, ask them to check whether your installation is a version from 1.0.0 through 1.11.5.
- No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so that person should check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release and install it as soon as one is available.
- If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for your organization, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
