Description

IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper authorization.

Description quoted from the NVD record.

Who is affected

Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS) is a tool for building apps that use AI language models. This flaw affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.12.2. A part of the product does not properly check what each user is allowed to access. Because of this, someone who already has an account and can sign in over the network could see sensitive information they should not be able to see. If your organization runs Langflow at one of these versions, or someone runs it for you, this applies to you. This flaw is rated High.

What to do

  1. Find out who installed or runs Langflow for your organization. This could be a staff member, a volunteer, or an IT provider or vendor who manages it for you.
  2. If someone in your organization runs it, ask them to check which version is installed. Versions 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 have this flaw.
  3. No fixed version is named for this flaw yet. Check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release, and install it as soon as one is available.
  4. If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for you, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
