IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information or inject malicious data due to improper access control in the vertex result caching subsystem.
Description quoted from the NVD record.
Who is affected
Langflow (also called IBM Langflow OSS) is a tool for building apps that use AI language models. This flaw affects versions 1.0.0 through 1.12.2. The problem is in the part of the product that saves the results of workflow steps so they can be reused. It does not properly check who is allowed to see or change those saved results. Someone who can sign in to your Langflow over a network could use this to get sensitive information or slip harmful data into it. This flaw is rated High.
What to do
- If someone in your organization installed or runs Langflow, ask them to check which version is in use. Versions 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 have this flaw.
- No fixed version is named for this flaw yet, so the person who runs Langflow should check the vendor advisory linked on this page for a fixed release and install it as soon as it is available.
- If an IT provider or vendor runs Langflow for your organization, send them this advisory and ask when the update will be done.
